DFB can design and install a range of domestic fire escapes and staircases, from single flight domestic fire escapes through to multi-floored staircase structures, balconies, floating internal staircases and bespoke balustrading. All our fire escapes comply with UK building and fire regulations and can be manufactured to suit almost all building types and height. Our professional team will work directly with our clients to meet their specific requirements, from an initial consultation through to bespoke design and installation.
Construction And Materials
Steel is used for the construction of your fire escape and landings, whether that is for internal or external use. The tread, balustrade and handrail are also manufactured from steel, but the designs are customisable and can be made to your bespoke requirements. A selection of finishes is available, these will be advised to the customer at the design stage of your project. Your fire escape can be manufactured to run clockwise or anti-clockwise and include intermediate landings if required and can incorporate our fire escapes to be set-away from the building.
We ensure that all our fire escapes and stairways conform to BS 5395-2 (Code of practice for the design of helical and spiral stairs).
